Sean Brumble

Sean Brumble was born in Heidelberg, Germany. He began studying the viola at age nine. Early teachers include Maria Maxwell and Walter Halen. Brumble holds a Bachelor of Music degree from UMKC where he studied with Steve Kruse, former principal violist of the Kansas City Symphony. Upon graduation he was awarded a full scholarship to Music Academy of the West. Brumble has been a member of the Symphony since 1996. He has also performed with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and is Principal Violist with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. He is currently serving as Chair of the Musician's Committee and resides in Greenwood, Mo. with his wife and two sons.
