Anthony DeMarco is a member of the First Violin Section of the Kansas City Symphony and is Co-Concertmaster of the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. He was previously Associate Concertmaster of the Virginia Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony. He has been a featured Soloist with the newEar Contemperary Ensemble and substituted with the Pittsburgh Symphony. He has spent his summers at festivals such as Chautauqua, where he was concertmaster, Tanglewood, Interlochen, the Downeast Chamber Music Festival, and on the faculty of the Eastern Music Fesitval. DeMarco studied at Carnigie Mellon and Oberlin where he worked with Albert Hirtz, Steven Clapp, Nathan Gottschalk, Raphael Bronstein and Herbert Greenburg.
