Member of the Orchestra Since 1995

Born in Tokyo, Japan. At the age of seven, Tomoko Iguchi started taking violin lessons in Mexico City while her family lived there for three years. After her family returned to Japan, she graduated from the Toho High School of Music and from the Toho School of Music in Tokyo, Japan.

In 1993, she moved to the States to join The New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida. She has been a member of The Kansas City Symphony since 1995. She has participated in the Evian Music Festival, Pablo Casals Music Festival, Colorado Music Festival, and has been a member of the Grand Teton Music Festival in Wyoming since 2002.

She has frequently performed with the newEar ensemble. She is a member of the Solistas Mexico Japon, a chamber group based in Mexico City. Besides performing with Kansas City Symphony, she performs solo recitals, chamber music, and maintains a private studio. She is a faculty member of the Forerunner Music Academy in Grandview, Missouri.
