Member of the Orchestra Since 1982

Violinist Karen Klein performed both as a member of the Kansas City Philharmonic and then the Kansas City Symphony when it reformed in 1982. Before these appointments, she was a freelance musician in New York City performing with the New York City Symphony, the National Orchestral Association of Carnegie Hall and the Queens Symphony. In Kansas City, she has also performed with orchestras such as the Kansas City Camerata, the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonia of Kansas City, the Liberty Symphony and is a member of the Athena Violin and Flute Duo. Klein regularly performs at the Unity Church Universal in downtown Kansas City.
