Francesca Manheim
B.M. New England Conservatory of Music
Member of the Orchestra Since 1993
Francesca Manheim started Suzuki Violin at the age of four. She grew up playing in an ensemble called Young People's String Consort in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor's Degree from New England Conservatory and went on to play with the New World Symphony under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas when they toured Japan and United Kingdom. She has enjoyed playing chamber music with groups such as Colorado String Quartet, Kent/Blossom Chamber Festival, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, and Brookside String Quartet. Her other orchestral experiences include National Repertory Orchestra, Colorado Music Festival, and Naples Philharmonic. Manheim has played with the Kansas City Symphony for 15 years.
