This past season, people from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, US Virgin Islands and eight other countries attended Kansas City Symphony concerts in the 2013-2014 season. The Kansas City Symphony did 173 performances of 53 different programs, including performances for the Lyric Opera of Kansas City and the Kansas City Ballet. Children from 255 schools in 42 school districts participated in Symphony education programs. More than 50,000 people attended the Symphony's Bank of America Celebration at the Station on Memorial Day weekend, with more than 1 million watching the concert broadcast on television.
