Kansas City Symphony KinderKonzerts are designed to introduce students in grades K-3 to the instruments of the orchestra. Programs include curricular ties to reading and language arts. Teachers will receive a curriculum guide and audio CD prior to the performance. This guide includes information and activities to use prior to and following the concert experience.

People tell stories in many different ways. Join us in Helzberg Hall as we explore storytelling through music, pictures, movement and words. Students will learn about the instruments of the orchestra through Bill Elliot’s The Remarkable Farkle McBride and will be able to tell their own music-inspired stories with pictures!

KinderKonzerts are part of the John and Marny Sherman Education series.

KinderKonzerts are underwritten by the William T. Kemper Foundation – Commerce Bank, Trustee.
