The Kansas City Symphony invites young musicians to participate in our programs designed for aspiring musicians. Opportunities include the Young Artist Competition, Inside Music Master Class Series, and TubaChristmas.

The Kansas City Symphony’s Inside Music Series features a variety of artists presenting master classes, lectures, and informal conversations.  These unique educational events are ideal for students, teachers and listeners alike!

AGES 13 - 18
Wednesday, January 6, 2016 – Registration Deadline
Saturday, January 16, 2016 – Preliminary Round Competition Date
Saturday, March 5, 2016 – Final Round Competition Date

The Kansas City Symphony invites students between the ages of 13-18 to participate in the 2016 Woman's City Club Charitable Foundation Young Artist Competition.  Nearly $2000 in prize money and the opportunity to perform with the Kansas City Symphony will be awarded.  A completed application form and $20 non-refundable application fee are required in order to audition.

The Kansas City Symphony will host TubaChristmas on December 4  & 7, 2015.  All area tuba and euphonium players are invited to join in the festivities.
