Kansas City Symphony Celebration Events
The 2020 calendar year marks a milestone close to Michael Stern’s heart, the 100th birthday of his father, Isaac Stern. This season, not only do we honor his memory as one of the most important musicians of the 20th century and a great fiddle player, but also for his enduring musical legacy throughout the world. He advocated for music in our society and served as a cultural ambassador across the globe. We remember him as a person who stood up for music and the arts as a force for good.
