Ticket Discounts

Our $29 Student Season Pass allows students to attend most Symphony Classical Series concerts throughout the season. Call the Symphony Box Office at (816) 471-0400 for details. Available for purchase starting July 13, 2022. Certain concerts are excluded from these offers.  Students age 30 and younger must present a valid student ID.

$12 Student Rush Tickets

$12 student tickets (30 and younger with valid student ID) are available for most Classical Series concerts. Subject to availability, student rush tickets can be purchased at the Kauffman Center of the Performing Arts Box Office 90 minutes prior to concert start time, or in advance by calling (816) 471-0400. Proof of age and current student enrollment status is required. Seating at box office discretion based on availability.

Student Group Discounts

The Kansas City Symphony also offers special group rates to school groups attending evening concerts. If you are looking for a unique field trip outside of the regular school day, we invite you to bring your school band, orchestra, choir, or other school group to an evening symphony performance.

Seniors, Subscribers, Veterans and Active Duty Military

Seniors, season subscribers, veterans and active duty military personnel may request a $5 discount on regularly priced adult tickets to individual Symphony concerts, subject to availability. Certain concerts may be excluded from this offer.

Group Sales

Groups of 10 or more may receive a wide range of discounts when purchasing in advance for all Classical, Pops and Family concerts, plus Christmas Festival and Handel’s Messiah.  Contact our Box Office at (816) 471-0400 and ask about special group rates. Subject to availability.

Discounts cannot be combined.

Youth Tickets

  • For all classical series concerts and Handel’s Messiah (no children younger than 8 will be admitted)
  • For all family series concerts (appropriate for 4 and up)
