The Kansas City Symphony POPS series will be held at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, a state-of-the-art facility in southern Johnson County. Located at 137th and Roe in Leawood, Kan., Resurrection is one of America's fastest-growing churches and one of the largest churches in the Methodist denomination. It has spacious and comfortable theater style seating, two giant video screens flanking the stage, easy wheelchair access, an on-site coffee shop and a location close to a wide variety of restaurants. Free parking is adjacent to the venue with entrances from Roe Avenue, Nall Avenue and Briar Street.
Elevator
An elevator is located in the main lobby under the stairs. The elevator services the main level, mezzanine and balcony.
ADA Seating
ADA seats are available on the main floor and may be arranged through the Symphony ticketing office.
Restrooms
Three sets of accessible restrooms are located in the lobby on the main floor of the building.
Water Fountains
Water fountains are located off both the East and North entrances of the lobby.
Concessions
The on-site coffee shop will be open prior to performances. Concessions at intermission will be available at several stations in the main lobby. Desserts, coffee and bottled water will be available for purchase.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the church.
