Kazato Inouye

Kazato Inouye was born in New York City and began taking violin lessons at the age of 3 with Kimbo Ishii-Eto. He continued his studies with Catherine Cho at the Juilliard School Pre-College Division, and he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Michigan as a student of David Halen and Yehonatan Berick, graduating in 2014. During the summer, he has been a fellowship recipient at the Aspen Music Festival, Colorado College Summer Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival, and served as assistant concertmaster of the National Repertory Orchestra in 2013. He has been a member of the Kansas City Symphony since 2014.
