We love the spirited KC Symphony Christmas Festival sing-along. Here, our David T. Beals III Associate Conductor Jason Seber explains how you can still join us and sing from home, as the orchestra performs “Hark, The Herald Angels Sing,” “The First Noel” and “Deck the Halls.” To view or download the Christmas Angels Sing-along lyric sheet, click here.

Italian baroque composer Arcangelo Corelli, father of the Concerto Grosso, composed his Christmas Concerto (Concerto Grosso in G minor, Op. 6 no. 8) as early as 1690 with publication in 1714. Calm, refreshing and peaceful, we perform this stunning piece featuring our KC Symphony soloists Sunho Kim, Tamamo Gibbs and Mark Gibbs. Enjoy the lovely sounds, with instrumentation meant to mimic those of old Italian shepherds’, like various pipes and bagpipes one might hear in the Sicilian countryside. Please savor this glittering jewel.
