Ticket Terms & Conditions 

  • By accepting and using tickets, patrons acknowledge and agree to adhere to the Kansas City Symphony Patron Code of Conduct. 
  • Please check all tickets to ensure you have received the correct performance, date and time. Contact the Kansas City Symphony Box Office at 816.471.0400 if corrections are needed. 
  • Events, programs, artists, dates and times are subject to change. The Kansas City Symphony will make every effort to inform customers of updates on our website and social media channels. 
  • Your ticket, whether paper or electronic, is a revocable license. It may be cancelled or revoked with a refund of the ticket price at the discretion of the Kansas City Symphony. 
  • All seating is at the discretion of venue management. Late arrivals may be given alternate seating to avoid disruption of the performance. 
  • Ticket holders assume all risks and dangers incidental to the event, including but not limited to personal injury or loss of property. 
  • Regardless of age, all attendees must have tickets. Children under the age of 8 are not encouraged to attend classical and pops concerts due to program length. Family Series performances, including Christmas Festival, are recommended for children and families. 
  • Phones, cameras and other electronic devices should be turned off or silenced prior to entering the performance hall to ensure an uninterrupted concert experience for all patrons. 
  • Use of recording devices during the performance (flash photography, video, audio, or any other media) is strictly prohibited without written consent from the Kansas City Symphony. 
  • By accepting and using tickets, patrons consent to any recording or photographs made by the Kansas City Symphony, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, talent or their contractors for promotional or archival purposes. 
  • All ticket sales are final. If an event is cancelled, customers may exchange tickets for a future performance in the current season. 
    • All exchanges must be requested within 72 hours of the original performance time. 
    • Customers are invited to call the Box Office or fill out our online form to exchange their tickets and exchange fees will be waived. 
    • The Kansas City Symphony will send an email to all ticketed customers as a reminder and also post information on our website and social channels. 
    • No refunds will be issued. 
  • We cannot verify or guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any third-party vendors, resale websites, or individuals. Tickets not purchased directly from the Kansas City Symphony may be invalid, counterfeit, or overpriced. The Kansas City Symphony is not responsible for any issues arising from unauthorized ticket purchases. We cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or assistance for tickets bought from unauthorized sources. All tickets obtained through unauthorized parties are purchased at your own risk.
