Artistically and financially, the Kansas City Symphony has completed its most successful season. It also has become a cultural destination, attracting ticket purchasers for the first time from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries.

Come Friday, Sept., 5, the Kansas City Symphony invites everyone to “do the Fandango” orchestra-style as it kicks off its Classics Uncorked Series with a concert dedicated to all things Bohemian, including an arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The Kansas City Symphony Chorus will hold auditions for its 2014-2015 Season on July 18-20 and August 8-10 at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Avenue Overland Park, Kan. Those interested in auditioning must schedule an appointment online by visiting www.kcsymphonychorus.org. No auditions will be seen without an appointment.
